Mandy Ellison, PT, DPT, CF-L1

Dr. Mandy Ellison is originally from Tallahassee, Florida where she graduated from Florida State University in 2010. She moved to Louisville in 2015 and completed her doctorate in physical therapy at Bellarmine University. Mandy is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists - Sports Special Interest Group. She has completed the Pelvic Health Level 1 certification and is currently in the process of working towards her specialization in women's health.

Mandy is also a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and has been involved in this community for over six years. She has experience working in outpatient sports medicine and orthopedics and enjoys working with athletes of all ages. She has a special interest in treating the female athlete and weekend warrior, to include postpartum moms wishing to return to high-intensity exercise / sport.

"We should all be participating in pain-free primal functional movements at our desired intensities. It's my job to educate people on why this is important and to show them how we can make it happen."

When Mandy isn't working, she loves spending time with her husband and her dog Stevie. They enjoy traveling, visiting friends and family, listening to live music and exploring culture.
